ROUNDED COFFEE TABLE

by Carlo Hauner and Martim Heisler, 1960

This piece is one of the most iconic pieces of the work designed by Martin Eisler, it refers to a furniture typology common at midcentury and very produced by Forma; showcase table.
Beside of the aesthetics richness, there's an interesting proposal on it that allows the user to exhibit books or any design objects without compromise the useful space of the table itself.

This piece was produced in São Paulo in circa 1960, but this coffee table could also be found at that time in the Argentine branch of Forma directed by Susi Aczel.
